central locking suddently completely stopped ...

am self-replying, problem is fixed. Fuse was blown. Replaced fuse. This was the right fix! Blown fuse was 10a. Sticker on underside of fuse box lid says 25a is the proper amperage. R&R'ed with the spare 25a fuse. Tested. Central locking working fine again.

Am not the first owner of this car. Have owned and been driving this car 1 1/2 years with the 10 amp fuse in slot 6 cental locking, and I use the cental locking on the car all the time. PO did a lot of his own work, even pretty much made his own exhaust system (!). Exhaust is regulation now.
