Poor gas pedal response and lopping idle V70-XC70 2002

Good day all,
Have read many posts about this prob but stumped.
Background: '02 V70, no turbo, automatic 200k. Had been sitting or about 2 years trying to get it on road again.
There appears electrical prob either bad battery and or alternator.
When running give miss fire code P0300. As battery dies I think other codes throw erroneously due to low voltage .
Replaced plus (NGK double platinum same as were in it for 100k) that were really bad. Bought 1 coil pack and switched it around but no change by ear. Idles at 1000rpms rough. Push gas pedal and seems an odd delay. Engine speed does not stay constant holding pedal steady and with release of pedal idles rough higher rpms for a short time, high, then drops back to 1000 rough.
Cleaned ETM and no change. Disconnected air mass module and idles the same even with plugging back in.
I have settled on the ETM as the culprit but would like the valued options from the board. Hate to throw an expensive part in on a guess. May do fuel filter too but the throttle response and erratic idle speed seems more that that.
Oh in the process of revving the engine must have ceased the AC pulley, clutch was not engaged, and broke belt, guess I can free pulley to run it.

Thank as alway to all.

At idle, plug your voltage meter to the battery terminals and check. It should be around 14.4V. Much less and you should consider a new voltage regulator. An auto parts store will check the voltage and the battery life for free.

The P0300 is for multiple misfires, you should also have P0301-5 so you know which cylinders could be a problem.

Reason for parking for a year? Check for vacuum leaks, as 1000 rpm is too high unless the engine is cold.

Yeh, forget the ETM for now. The AMM could be a problem, but there is a code for that too. Pull the cam belt cover off and take a quick check of the timing marks.

Keeping it running is better than buying new
