replaced timing belt, cam seals, now P0026 V70-XC70 2004

Yesterday I replaced the cam seals and timing belt in Mary's '04 V70 and this morning after church she got a CEL. She says the car runs great but the code P0026 shows up. Am I off by a tooth somewhere or did messing around with the VVT hubs make the intake solenoid unhappy ?

I'm going to check the timing marks again. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks

Greg

Not the best video ever, but right up your alley. The p0026 is for the intake solenoid, and it is probably dirty! Try cleaning it before getting a new one.

      Hi Klaus,

I rechecked the timing and when the only thing I could convince myself was the crankshaft timing mark lined up with the casting on the oil pump the marks on the cam sprockets looked to be lined up with the timing marks. Cleared the codes and got P0016 this time...

Does anyone have a Volvo timing belt with the marks on it? If so, how many cogs are between the timing marks ?
