Speedometer/odometer not working after I installed brakes and wheel hubs V70-XC70 1998

V70 with 221,000 miles. I just completed a front brake job (rotors and Pads) and replaced both hubs. I was pretty proud of myself until I drove the car and noticed that the speedometer and odometer are not working. Brakes and hubs seem fine. Could I have damaged something while working? When I tried to unplug the ABS sensor on one wheel, the wire pulled out of the plug. I stuck it back in, but really just to get it out of the way, as ABS wasn't working in the first place. Thoughts? Thanks, as always!

"The ABS wasn't working anyway." Your problem isn't related to your brake job. The vehicle speed is sent from the transmission through the ABS computer and then to the instrument cluster and the engine computer. I suspect that the ABS module needs to be repaired. See this site: https://www.midwest-abs.com/1998_S70.php

The ABS sensor plug... If the wire pulled out of the plug, that is not a good thing. You may have to replace the sensor if the wire no longer can make contact inside the plug.
