power steering pump S70 1998

so in repairing the the ECT sensor issue mentioned in my prior post, my local indy mechanic pointed out the wobbling power steering pump pulley...which I have known of for a while...mu questions being....is it likely the pulley, or the PS pump shaft/bearings?..pump not noisy, and functioning as it should...I can order new pulley...looks like a press fit...as I don't have a selection of odd pullers, best to let indy tackle it so I don't ruin pump in the process?...

again, much and many thanks to all who share their knowledge...

Tom

Most likely worn bearing. The pulley is press fitted on to the shaft. If the bearing isn't totally gone yet, ask if it can be repaired at a machine shop.
