Mobil 1 Oil Weight for Winter V70-XC70 2000

During most of the year I use Mobil 1 10-30W synthetic oil. What weight should I use in winter? I live near Pittsburgh, PA. Winter temperatures range from 40F to -10F.

    Unless you live in an extreme cold area (less than 10 degrees all the time) I think 10W-30 synthetic would be fine. Of course 5W-30 may help in the cold start department but not much is my guess. If you were using dino oil then I definitely go with a 0W-30 or 5W-30. I live in FL and use 10W-30 Mobil 1 and travel to NY in the winter and have had no problems at any time. The only problem I have is with ME!!! Brrr.
