Brake pedal to floor C70

So I still have brakes on my 2000 C70 Convertible, but the pedal has to travel nearly to floor.

Sounds like master cylinder, right?

If I purchase, is it worth getting a ATE 8602305 Master Cylinder (C70 S70 V70) from FCP Euro from $91.11, then bleeding brakes myself?

I know the recommended wheel sequence for bleeding, but here are residual questions:

1) Do you agree that it's likely the master even though I see no leaking fluid?
2) Is getting ATE master worthwhile vs. nearly $300 for a Volvo part?
3) Does the reservoir just pull right out for reinstallation on new master?
4) What is bench bleed of the new master?

Thanks!

just replaced master brake the other day on c70 no need to bench bleed real pain in the butt. Just install and bleed back to front.

To determine if it is the master and not air, pump the brake a few times and see if that brings the pedal back up. And then hold it there and if the pedal starts to sink, it is probably the master.

When was the last time the fluid was bled? A stuck caliper can generate enough heat to boil the fluid and create air in the line. Enough air and the pedal sinks because air compresses, fluid does not.
