How long to postpone PCV service V70-XC70

2000 V70 SE / AW55 209K miles

I wonder if car is living on borrowed time with no service ever on PCV system. It's had synthetic oil since first oil change and at regular intervals. No indication of crankcase overpressure and no oil blowing by dipstick or top of engine through filler cap. Regular maintenance, uses no oil and passes stringent CA smog tests. Mixed driving, both highway and around town. I know doing the full service is quite a bit of work which is a big reason it hasn't been done.

What's the advice of BB?

Sounds like you're staying on top of it.
I'd let sleeping dogs lie.

That is something to be monitored. Obviously, the hoses will eventually crack and then you must replace them. Otherwise, I would check the crank pressure annually. The use of synthetic was a wise move on your part!
