2010 xc70 V70-XC70 2010

Hey I'm looking at purchasing a 2010 xc70 29k serviced regularly. I love my old 03 v70 awd but the costs have gotten high one thing after another going wrong, I'm wandering are these newer generation volvos OK. My current had been great very low maintenance, but as it gets older it will require more sustaining work, not equipped to diy like I was with my old 940, I think I might be a little gun shy taken on my newer go!vo.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,
Miles

The 6 cyl drinks more gasoline than the LPT 5 cyl, but has a bit more torque. The electronics are much better, and those are the expensive things that are hard to diagnose and repair. Some have said that the seats on the 2010 are not as comfortable.

Only 29K miles? So service was just oil changes and the owner traded it in because the free service period is ended?

Warranty is Four (4) years/50,000 Miles from date of purchase. If you can find out which dealer sold and serviced the car, the dealer will have records available. These records can be printed and given to the owner of the car, they supply date of service and any mechanic coments.

It is imperative that synthetic motor oil be used to prevent PCV clogging.

The Honda dealer should be happy to supply you with a printed Carfax, that will have the sold date on it.
