Auto Transmission Fluid Leak

Hello All,

I purchased a used 1998 Volvo C70 Coupe last month. I really like the car. Beautiful body style, high pressure turbo engine is solid, transmission shifts smoothly, super comfy seats.

I've noticed that the automatic transmission is dripping some fluid. I can't tell where it is coming from and need to do a little better job of looking at it. Has anyone had experience with this issue in their S70, V70, C70 or 850? I was wondering if it is common for these transmissions to seep a little. Also, if anyone has a suggested remedy and/or cost to get it fixed, that would be great.

Mine would seep when it was a cup or 150ml overfilled. Was no issue to release some and it did the trick.

I'll check the fluid level tonight and drain a little if it is on the high side.
