Timing Belt et al - S70 98

Hi.

I had all work done on my S70 during the warrantee period at the dealer. Now, the fun starts. I am at 62K miles, so I am assuming time for a timing belt change. I have done timing gear on 1800, belt on 240, what I am in store for here?

Any step by step or input?

It is recommended to change the timing belt at 70,000 miles according to the Volvo service manual.

Timing belt is due at 70k. Drive belt at 60k. I don't know about you folks, but it seems to me that the money saved in labor by doing both belts at 60k more than makes up for getting an extra 10k out of a timing belt. Not to mention the fact that it's that much LESS risk of the timing belt failing prematurely and causing all kinds of bad, bad non-warranty problems.

      Just my $.02
