Alignment of V70 XC V70-XC70 1998

My new (used) XC seems to need an alignment, but only in the "S" (sport) mode. Has anyone else experienced this in their XC/V70? Intuition tells me that it should pull the same whether in S, E, or W driving modes, but this does not seem to be the case.

    Re: Alignment of V70 XC V70-XC70 1998

    Dan,

My 2000XC seems to pull/drift a bit sometimes also. I have only "W" no sport mode button. At times I can attribute that pull/drift to a crowned road, other times not. For me that would be mostly to the passenger side. This can be more pronounced from a standstill and sometimes while braking at low speed. As I said, not always to the passenger side, but only at moderate speeds do I get drift/pulling to the drivers side. This effect is so intermitant I doubt I could get the car to "act up" for the dealer.

Right now I am chalking this up to "road feel" but if otherwise unexplained tire wear shows up, well then plan B.
