Highway RPM? 850 1996

My 1996 850 2.4l 5cyl na 4sp auto (I think)

does about 2700 rpm @ 70mph.

Does this seem high or about right?

    Jeff, if you have tires that are different from the ones for which the speedo is calibrated you will get MPH error.

    I'd say it is 2800 or more. I think at 75 mph it is 3000.

    Thats about the same as both of our Volvos.
