Hello all,

I am off to Europe on Business soon and would love to rent a T4. Does anyone rent them? I've got to do alot of driving from Hamburg up to Denmark and could fly through Copenhagen if required. If we can't buy them in the US at least someone should rent them in Europe

Normal car rental firms like Herz, Budget, Europcar, etc. only have base models of their cars. So an S40 you would likely only find in an 1.6 or 1.8.

This goes for all brands and models, so if you rent a MB C-class you get a C180.

You could try contacting a dealer in the area where you intend to go and see if they have any cars for rent. Perhaps they have a T4 on their lot.

Sometimes there are specialized companies who have more 'exclusive' cars, but these are usually small and not so easy to find. I know one in Switserland where you an even rent a Lamborghini Diablo. Only downside is the $2500 rental price per *day* :-)
