Dash lites 850 1995

I've noticed that a few of my "idiot" lights (cruise control, etc.) have burned out(?) in my '95 850GLT. Is there any simple way to relace these bad boys, or do I have to tear the whole dash apart?

I did this once and removed the pass side air bag. Not a fun job, but doable. Kicker is that when i replaced the clock light, one of speedo lights went out. i had to then order that bulb and do the job again (Same thing happened in another car). I recommend that anyone who does this buy a spare illumination bulb just in case--its $4 of cheap insurance.

The site below has pictorial directions. There is no light for the cruise control, so if thats the only light that is burned out save yourself the time.

TO TAKE OUT INST CLUSTER IS EASY, REMOVE SCREWS FOR DASH PAD, ONLY FROM CENTER VENTS OVER 7 IN ALL, USE A PLASTIC TRIM TOOL TO REMOVE YOUR 3 VENTS TO SEE THE DASH PAD SCREWS, 2 SCREWS IN IN FRONT OF INST CLUSTER, AND ON THE SIDE OF DASH WITH THE DOOR OPEN YOU WILL SEE A PLASTIC TRIM CAP FOR THE SIDE SCREW THAT HOLDS THE SIDE TRIM ON,REMOVE THE TRIM AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR LAST SCREW REMOVE YOUR SPEAKER GRILL AND SPEAKER AS WELL. PICK UP CORNER OF DASH PAD REMOVE THE 2 GREEN CONECTORS AND THE HOLD DOWN CLIPS FOR THE CLUSTER ΐ]. REMOVE CLUSTER AND REPLACE YOUR BULBS. GOOD LUCK!
