Onboard computer 400 1989

does anybody know of this problem with the onboard computer , when the display is just flashing on and off ? and the actual display ie fuel etc isnt makeing any sense ?

electric's in the car are otherwise fine.

anyone else know of this problem and what solution they came to ?

The probable cause is condens inside the boardcomputer. It often happens when its rainy and wet weather. Try to get the car really dry. The problem

will not disappear totally of course. I think it has something to do with corroded connection or so. To solve it proparly you have to disassemble the computer/dashboard and in same way clean up round the connections.
