Blower/Fan S70

I have a 1998 S70 T5 with 115,000 miles and the fan work intermittently. When it doesn't kick in I can shut the car off, turn it back on and that usually does the trick. I have the ECC system. The fan/blower isn't making any strange noises, but was wondering if the blower resistor is going. I've replaced 1 on a 94 850, but on that vehicle the fan was only working on high. Any thoughts?

Before you start the engine, put the blower speed on auto and the vent selector on auto. Then start the engine and see if the yellow lights are blinking on the recirc and AC switches. If so, the cabin temp sensor is probably clogged with dirt.

If the lights remain green after start up and the blower will not run on any speed, then check the fuses. Is the cabin filter clogged?

The glovebox needs to be removed before you can drop the kick panel on the passenger side - a pain.
