Mityvac pump help

I'm trying to use a just-bought mityvac MV8000 - the Tune up and Brake Bleed kit to drain the bevel gear housing on my v70 xc 98

There is no second port to attach the exporting hose to ??? I'm obviously not familiar with these - does one have to buy a specific model of mityvac?

The one in the how to photos has a second line coming off the top of the mityvac pistol I don't even see how I can do this on mine...

Help! Sunday is short!

TIA

Servicing your Bevel Gear Oil - No more pressure ports on Mityvac pumps - workaround

Hey anyone who is looking to do the bevel gear oil change (without drilling) and does not already own one save yourself the hassle, mityvac has changed all their models (from what I can see) and they no longer have the second port on the top of the gun.

You should probably buy the cheapest POS vacuum pump/bleeder thing (for $15-20 at harbor freight and the like)to pump the old stuff out. You can buy this Valvoline pump (found mine at NAPA by the gear oil) that fits the top of the quart bottle of gear oil for 6 bucks. It comes with a straw that reaches the bottom of the bottle. It does not come with a long piece of external tubing though, so you will need to source that either from the vacuum pump kit you get or the hardware store.

Valvoline part number, VV818

Just telling you, there are tons of these old product photos of the old mityvac floating around (with the top pressure port), I have been on a "wild goose chase." When you get to the store it is the new product without the pressure port.
