XC 70 rear loose and swerves V70-XC70 2004

The rear of my wife's XC70 is swerving all over the place. It was just aligned and I replaced the swaybar links recently. I am worried that the problem may be all of those bushings in the rear. Can anyone advise me on this problem and is it commonplace? The car has 160K miles on it and it has been driven on bumpy Vermont backroads for the last 100K miles. If it is the bushings, how bad a job is it to replace them? It looks like it will take a special tool to press them out. Is the tool a dealer only item? Looking for help on what to do.

The alignment shop should have noticed any loose bushings and informed you of that fact. It is not a 'special' tool to press the bushing out/in, just a 10 ton press. Dealer is not required, but a lift sure does come in handy.
