brake rotors S70 1998

so the A/C is working, all the bugs worked out of new bilstein/ipd suspension, and driving is fun again...almost....at last rotor change, replaced with the usual Brembos I get reasonably priced from my hole in the wall import parts place(shoutout to European Midtown Auto!)....Brembos now produced in China, and they rust and pit if you you just mention the work "moisture"....looking for a better made rotor, doesn't have to be cross drilled or ice chilled, just not made in the Pacific rim, and somewhat rust resistant..just trying to avoid my local bank robber, also known as A***B***** Volvo .....thanks for all the input!

There are so many rotors on the market that it makes my head spin. I prefer the slotted, not drilled, rotors with the zinc coating. The coating keeps the rust away from the non-brake pad used portion. Especially nice for the rear brakes with the internal drum, rust really looks ugly.

Which brand? Where are they made? Looks like you have some homework...

If the rust gets on the pad swept area, you are not driving the car enough :>)

Any experience with rotor paint? or cold zinc paint on the rotors?

Rotor paint? S70 1998

I prefer to buy rotors already coated. The 500F paints are not good enough when I get into race mode and the rotors turn red.
