Hi, I have been thinking of getting a Volvo wagon. What are the typical issues for a V70and or 850 wagon, (any preferenaces?) to look out for? Also, what are the atypical issues to think about for future maintenance?
Most cars I see are around the 150,000 mile mark, so taking it from there.....

Ignore any 2001 Volvo, no matter how good the price.

Ditto, the 1993 850.

1994-1999 have AC issues. Check the tranny fluid.

If there are no maintenance records, look elsewhere.
