Hi, I am not very familiar with later Volvos. Did any of the AWD wagons come with manual transmissions? and if so which ones and what years.
oh also I'm in the US.

    Not for normal sale in America. You could order one, perhaps. They were sold in Canada, and the rest of the world.

    I remember that some "R" wagons had 6 speed trannies, so they are out there.

      2004 V70/S60 R were AWD and some had the 6-speed manual. Some S40 AWD cars were available with manual. I have found that more N/A cars have manual and turbo cars have automatic.

        Hi thanks for the links...but those don't look too much like wagons.
        ...maybe you were sugesting cars available that have parts which can be swapped into a wagon to make a manual AWD wagon?

          Those links were for cars than came factory with AWD and manual transmission.

          I forgot that you were limiting it to wagons. An actual swap is too much trouble for me, but it can be done.

          I know for a fact that the 2004 V70 R was available with AWD and manual transmission in the U.S. I searched http://www.nuceng.ca/bill/volvo/database/cars.htm Here are the other ones: 2002 V70 AWD, 2004-2007 V70 R AWD.

          I seems as though the only models with manual are the older RWD cars, and even those are hard to find in good condition. I bought my AWD car because it is better than FWD, but I wanted a RWD turbo wagon like the 740.

            The earlier cars - 850's, S70's and V70's - all were available with manual trannies, but no AWD with manual trannies to the best of my knowledge.

            The FWD (and AWD) cars with manuals are so desirable that you rarely see them on the market...
