850-94 glove box broken?

Hi,

we were able to open the broken glove box lock by
- removing the kick board
- brying the hinge down for access to 4 hinge torx srews and removing them to get the lower part open
- then remove the door inside plastics for access to the latch and open it
then you can replace or repair the broken lock part and reinstall

this way you don't get visible damage anywhere but need patience and small fingers

After reading several posts about glove boxes stuck, I took one of mine apart and marked the spot where I could drill a small hole to release the latch.
