Where is bank 1 for Oxygen sensor located?

Oxygen sensor location V70-XC70 1998

The sensor harness clips are located on top of the tranny housing, just below the air cleaner and slightly rearward. There are 2 of them, one for each of the sensors.

Just because you got a code does not mean they need to be replaced. There could be an underlying problem causing the sensor to read too high or low.

There is only one bank on that engine, you need to know if it is bank 1 sensor 1 or sensor 2. Either way the sensor 1 is located in the head pipe downstream of the turbo, it can be seen from the top of the engine. Sensor 2 is located in the cat itself, about 10 inches or so from where the cat starts. Hope this helps.
