Wet carpet from installing heater core S70

I installed a new heater core in my S70. In doing so i seemed to have gotten a fair amount of water in the car carpet. It moved from the front to the back seat carpet. The drivers side and passenger behind the driver now has wet carpet

The temps here are 40 to 50F and i am wondering if i will be ok? Does anyone have any ideas as to what to do and any problems i might have?

Well at least i was able to swap out the heater core. It was kind of tough but i eventually got it done. Thanks to people on this board!

You mean antifreeze, not water. If you get the newspaper delivered, that makes the best mop. Place it under the carpet to help soak up the sticky antifreeze. You may need several weeks worth.

Or, remove the carpet and foam pad underneath. Hose off both and let them air dry. The foam pad will take a couple of days...
