Appreciate some enlightment on the following. The message system (2004) when it detects and reports a bulb "out" . Is it based on risistivity (sp?)? how does that system work??
Problem: One of my headlight low beam bulbs (H 7) every few week will create the message. When I check the bulb is "not on", but the filment is intact.
I have checked and cleaned the plastic connector.... all appears to be OK.
As soon as I put the connector on, all is well for a few weeks. I have repeated this rountine several times and am I missing someting??
