P0133 V70-XC70 1998

I'm getting P0133 error on 1998 V70.
"Slow Response Bank 1 O2 Sensor" according to the manual. Where is this sensor located? Should I clear the code and wait few weeks before replacing this O2? Maybe it's intermittent...

Hello, It's on the exhaust pipe very near the firewall, ahead of the catalytic converter. Always try clearing a code first. Log how long it takes to return. How many miles are on this car? Kira

Thanks! Do I need a special tool to remove it?
Also, is this a 2,3, or 4 wire O2 sensor. Will generic model work, or do I need exact fit? What's the best place to buy it? Please don't say "the dealer"...

4 wire, extracting it is a very tight space affair. A 7/8 sensor socket can result in stripping and more problems. A 22 mm would be better but good luck getting one and fitting it up in there. Mine is still in there after some removal attempts, so thats as far as I can advise.
