Hi x40 owners

I rec'd the newsletter from IPD and they say they will have a swaybar (rear, 22mm) available very soon.

I'm looking forward to installing it on my wagon for flatter cornering during daily driving.

Has anyone fitted a rear swaybar (from some other source) on their 40 series, and how has it affected the ride from stock?

Much more harsh/bumpy?

IPD's 40 series rear swaybar has been coming out for the past 9 months! I called IPD around Thanksgiving and they said it would be available by Christmas. I last called them right after the first of the year and they said both of their 40 series test cars were down for maintainence and no, they weren't done testing the swaybay yet at that time. Maybe I'll try giving them a call in a month or so (again).

I have IPD swaybars on my '90 244 and LOVE them.

Sorry to hear about the broken promises. Anyway, I'd prefer they get it right than sell it without enough R&D.

But in an email yesterday they did say they were going to start shipping back orders of the bar late next week. That would be Jan 26 in my book.

Let's see what happens...I'll keep the list informed.
