What to buy? V70-XC70 2006

I need your opinion. I am trying to decide either to buy a used 2006 V70 T5 with 80K on it or to buy a new 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. I used to have a 1998 V70 T5 till it died with 240+ K miles on it. I had to spend lots of money on maintenance and repair. I liked car very much and there was lots of room in the back to put my wheel chair in it easily. The Hyundai does not have a large cargo but I can manage. The new car is couple of thousand dollars more and I don't have to spend extra on the expected repair beyond 80k miles for the Volvo. I wish I had the money to buy a new Volvo but I don't. Any comment appreciated. Thanks.

Brand new or 5 year old car. Cheap dealer or expensive labor shop?

We are not alike, but if you do a lot of highway driving, the stability and power of the T5 is preferred over the 140bhp of the Hundai. The T5 will need a new Tbelt in about 30K, the Hundai in 100K. The T5 has climate control, the Hundai has manual AC. If you sit in the driver's seat for 4+ hours, the T5 is more comfortable.

Lifting height is better in the T5 along with twice as much room in the rear. The Hundai lets you see the views when you go over bridges.

Parking is MUCH easier in the Hundai. Check all of the rental car companies and see if there is one to rent for a week, that's the best way to check it out.
