Hi all,

Every since I've owned my '98 S70, the security system has not re-locked the doors if one is not opened w/in 2 minutes as stated in the owner's manual.

So, imagine my surprise, when I returned to the car with a handful of stuff and found that it had locked itself. I have tried it several times since and had the same result.

Why would it suddenly start working after 13 years?

    It only happens when you don't want it to. If you unlock all the doors, I don't think it relocks, only if you unlock the driver's door.
