no more mileage medallions from Volvo V70-XC70

They sent me a certificate and decal for the window, and a 10% coupon for parts during service from dealer.

I thought the new mileage stickers were for 150K, 300K, and 500K miles. You should have asked for one for your 740.

I think the stickers are still every 100k. The 150, 300, and 500k are nice badges from http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/hmc. I got the 300k badge for my V70 for ~18 pounds - well worth it over the sticker.

I just received a 100k mile sticker and certificate from Volvo for the '03 V70...lets just say its the saddest thing I've ever seen; specially in comparison to the cool medalion I received for the old 850 wagon we used to own. The new sticker is of poor print quality and it wasn't cut straight...anyway, brief disapointment, can't complaint much about freebies right?

Not about complaining. Those badges were best marketing gimic they had. It shows short-sightedness.

Most all cars now go 100K miles V70-XC70 2003

Honda doesn't even schedule a "tune up" until 100K miles. I wish VOLVO would have something better for 200/300K miles, like a free complete car inspection to include turning off the service indicator for the 1998 and a mess of dash bulbs.
