What cam stabilizing tool do you like that I can use on my 850 and S40? I need to do a timing belt, don't want the pulleys to move. I have to do the seals, wish that I could stabilize them from the non-belt side also.

The 850 Haynes manual has a good description of how to build a tool to lock the cams in place from the opposite side. You pull the CPS and distributor and the back ends of the cam are exposed, and they are slotted to accept a locking tool for procedures such as the one you're attempting.

Not sure how similar the engine in your car is to the 850 5 cyl...
