i took an '08 xc for a spin today, not impressed. miss my 01...

why, on earth did they stop putting the t-5 in those?! that 3.2 is a terd, even with the 6 speed. so the search continues for an 05 xc. did they not make many of those or maybe people are hanging on to them, because the tranny's didn't blow/burn?

I agree, the 08, 09, and 10 are big and clunky. And, as far as I know, no manual transmission in USA. Yuuck.

2007 was still the 5 cyl. Check autotrader.com for your area. I found 50 xc70s for sale.

Absolutely right...the 08 and up are gutless tanks, even my wife agreed. I got lucky and found a clean '07, but it has 47,000 on it. I had looked at an '07 with 37K on it, but it was beaten. Have a good indy look it over before you buy.
