Base S 70 with 182,000 miles has small amount of blow by collecting near the top of the 3rd cylinder, approx 3 tablespoons. No moke from dip stick nor does oil cap float above the lip when partially unscrewed. How long can I let this go before replacing PCV breather system? As always thanks.

    This is usually a $1 fix. Replace the oil filler cap gasket every other year.

      Klaus, the gasket has gone up substantially. List is like 7.80 now, but usually parts sells it for 3-4. (yes I know FCP sells them for 2.75 and only lists 3 something as MSRP..)

        I just checked my most recent purchase and you are correct, $2.70 at my dealer. What a rip!
