Engine swap S70

All,

Can I replace a B5234T3 engine with a B5254T? Both are turbo. They look identical, but I believe the B5254T is a 2.4L and the B5234T3 is a 2.3L. Would this be OK as long as I swap the ECU with it?

    The light pressure turbo (2.5L) and the high pressure turbo (2.3L) have the same fittings, so long as the tranny is the 4 speed auto. Not sure about the 5 speed that came with some 2.5L engines.

    Of course, the turbos are different.
