I've been able to find the wiring diagram which I consider essential
But Google is really uncooperative in delivering free material.
They're best at delivering you to their paying customers and/or
some hostile hacker sites that advertise manuals but don't deliver.
Does anyone know where to get the other manuals
I'm interested in the Engine, Brakes and Front end the most.

    If you Google any of these manual numbers, you get a flood of various sites, some of which appear questionable, with respect to downloading infection-free files.

    Is there one site that you have used that has proved safe for you?

    You can't, of course, guarantee the safety of any of these sites, but if there is one that you have used that has proved reliable, I would rather use that site than throw darts at the wall.

      I was able to find the wiring diagram (Greenbook) OK.
      It's online in PDF format. I was hoping to find some of the other manuals
      on line but so far, no joy. I did, however test some other search engines
      than the usual Google, and found better cooperation with some of them.
      I guess it's time to retire Google as #1 search engine, since it is so
      biased towards it's paying customers.

    My county library subscribes to Alldata, which I can look at for free or print a page for 10 cents.

    For $25/year, alldatadiy.com is an alternative.

      How do you like Alldata for the 850?

      I think I used that at one of the local garages, and it's not so good.
      Some fuzzy collection of stuff, but they come up short on the info you
      need. Unless you know a lot ahead of time , you are treading water with
      the info they dish out. How are the schematics? Do they come close
      to the detail in the Volvo Greenbooks?
      My local library has been trying to find a good online auto service
      source, and so far they've been wasting money...whats good for vintage
      Volvo's? Maybe they'll get it.

        Never use Alldata because I can never find what I really want, I have an 850 Haynes manual and the Brickboard.

        There are no more Greenbooks. They went away during the 240 days.
