rear shocks 850 1997

I need to replace the rear shocks on my 850R. It's up to 195,000 and i've never raplaced them. Going to leave the struts for now as it's showing no weird tire wear and they seem to be functioning ok. ANyway, any suggestions for a good rear shock.

Bilstein TC is a good choice for a normal type replacement, the HD is pretty stiff. As others said, do yourself a favor and do the struts, which are pretty toasted by now. Don't forget the top mounts while you are in there.

Good luck.

If you have Nivomats, like my 1998 R, be prepared for a real shocker.

For normal strut/shock replacement go to shoxx.com for a real good price.

If the front of your car nose dives even a little when you stop, replace the struts. I put Koni sport on mine, and they feel good.

Pretty sure the are not nivomats. Was thinking abouth something cheaper like Bilstein touring class or KYB gas adjust. Are these total junk or will they be ok?
