If you can remove the line from the rack, the crack can easily be filled in by brazing provided that the line is steel, which is almost certain.

You need a torch of course. Oxy-Acetylene is preferable, but even Mapp gas should work given the small size of the work piece.

I've done this on these types of hard lines on several occasions.
