Security system sensitivity?? V70-XC70 2005

Nayone out there know if the security systems in these cars is configurable to be somewhat less sensitive, or if not, to be just plain turned off?

A tenant living right inside where my V70 is parked complains vigorously that every tiem a train goes by about 50 feet away, the damn car beeps quite loudly!

Is it great magnetic fields or ground vibration that does it?

Thanks.

Does your car have the optional movement alarm? There is a switch in the dash for it to be turned off. Manual:

Temporarily turning off the inclination and movement alarm sensor(s) - accessory
This button will only be found in cars equipped with the accessory inclination and/or movement sensors.

Otherwise check the fuses and pull the alarm fuse, so long as that fuse is standalone.
