How to Turn Engine to set rollers on their marks (timing belt) 850

I have a question. I'm sure someone here know the answer. How to rotate engine to set roller on their marks. I have automatic transsmission on my Volvo 850 GLT 1995. I put shifter in netural, removed timing belt cover and tried to turn it by hand, but it won't move. Thanks.

Remove the passenger side front wheel and open the access door get at the crank pulley. Need to remove or at least loosen all the plugs.

Park or neutral, makes no difference. Take out ALL 5 spark plugs! When you have compression, it makes turning the engine by hand impossible. Besides, after the Tbelt is installed, you will want to turn the engine 720 (2 rotations) to see if everyting is OK, before you start the engine.

When you restart the engine, let it run for at least 2 minutes to get the oil pressure and sensors to a normal state.

Haynes guide says use a socket on the crankshaft pully center nut and turn clockwise (may take a few attempts since notches are hard to see)
