brake fluid S70 1999

Hi, I am in the process of doing a brake flush on my car. The manual mentions DOT 4+ brake fluid while the brake fluid cap says DOT 4. Which one should I follow?

Assuming DOT 4 is okay to use, any recommendations on which brand would be better to use? Or are there any brands to avoid?

I was considering the following.

All comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dot 4 is just fine. The manual is just saying you can use 4 OR 5 in it. The ratings of the fluids are based on increasing boiling points of the fluids. Dot 4 is just fine - it's a heavier-duty fluid than 3. 5 is silicone based, and used a lot by bikers and sports car enthusiasts. The Valvoline is probably a good product.
