Timing belt change procedure V70-XC70 2004

Having done a couple timing belts on 1997/98 sedans I dove right in, only to discover the method for lining up the timing marks must be different on my 2004 V70 (FWD, non-turbo), as the notches on the timing cover are not there.
Can anyone tell me how to line these up, or better yet, direct me to a guide (the Bay 13 guide for the earlier models is very good, but not up to date).

Ours had the timing marks on the upper rear belt cover. I found it difficult to keep the two camshafts lined up and get the belt around the tensioner. If you still haven't taken it apart, count the number of teeth between the timing marks for a check when you put it back together.

I would suggest you pay for a subscription to AllDataDIY.com (~$30?). And then maybe you could do a writeup about it for us. :)
