replacing my 88 240 with a 94 850 850

Anything I should look out for? I know it needs the timing belt soon as it has 199,000 km's. Maybe water pump. I maintained my 240 for 10 years and it has 406,000 Km's on it.

Maybe look for a later model 850 if possible? Is the 240 no longer usable?

      Hi,
based on 2x850-94 experience with 300k and 225k kms I would state the model year quite reliable and cheap to own compared to newer model years.
Pluses: more reliable ABS, OBD inbuilt no - reader needed, 4gear automatic cheap to flush.
Negative: old is always old, brakes need work, engine & tire support pushings start to be worn out, etc.
Comparison: I past 3years I've spent more mone in my V70d5awd-05 than in those two 850s together in 15years together.
Of course you may not compare those cars either.

      br Tapsa
