front wheel bearing replacement V70-XC70 1999

Would anyone be able to share any information on front wheel bearing replacement? I’ve replaced them on my RWDs before and also on my 01 4wd Chevy S-10 PU, but not on the AWD Volvo. Any tricks? I thank you for info you may be able to share.

I miss my 140s/60s 240s 740s and still adore our presently owned 1995 940… she’s a gem.

front wheel bearing replacement V70-XC70 1999

Hi...Well, I just replaced the right front on my '97 850 wagon. Wasn't bad at all. Start with the loosening the axle nut while the wheel and weight of the car is on the ground. You can remove. Raise car, take off wheel. Remove brake assembly, ABS sensor, separate ball joint, remove rotor, and tap on shaft to backout from hub. You will need reverse torx socket to get the bearing off the hub. Reverse for installation. Good luck.
