Anyone have Interior part numbers 850

Hello All,

So I'm trying to replace the center console in my '96 855 5 spd, and my local Volvo dealer isn't very friendly... Anyone have have Interior part numbers?

The arm rest is gone, the rear of the console is broken- There is a hole where the rear cup holder of ashtray would be.

thanks a ton!

In the area of Volvo wrecking yards I've done business with Sweden Auto Warehouse, www.sawvolvo.com in Sacremento, CA. I've done it through the phone so it's obviously not a pick and pull type operation. But, I've done numerous transactions with them and am happy to recommend them to others.

I would look at salvage yards long before I went to a dealer for the center console and arm rest. There are 2 or 3 colors, mostly grey or light beige. The missing part in the rear of the console is the ashtray.

You can easily get one from a pick&pull. Just bring your Torx driver with. 2 screws under the arm rest, 1 under the coin tray, one above the cigarette lighter, and 2 more under the ashtray.

1995 has front and rear cupholders in the armrest.

That's a Volvo dlr in the Dallas area. There's a full catalog with parts numbers and diagrams for you as well as 30% off the normal dlr price. Actually my dlr is about 10% or more over suggested list so it's really 40% or so for me. Check them out. Give them a call. They're very helpful

      Thanks a ton Guys!

The yards here in Philly don't hold a Volvo for long they are bare before a day or two. I was there a few weeks ago and a guy claimed he got the whole base and trim for and 850 wagon console for $40.00 NOS!

Is there any difference in the console for auto and stick shifter aside?

      Cheers,

Unfortunately, yes. The auto has that PRNDL window and a light for it. The only difference.

Check with darilwaltripVolvo in Tennessee, look them up and call their 800 number. Let them know you are on the Brickboard for a better discount. You will need to know the correct color.
