The wiper on the passenger side of my 2001 S40 stopped working>Drivers side works bur there is a clicking sound.Any suggestions on what it could be so I know what to look for when I take things apart?

    Does it look like the arm tries to move at all/do you hear the motor working if the wipers are turned on? We used to have an Expedition that the bolts would randomly come off the back of the wiper arm that attached it to the motor...piece of crap. If not, check the connections to the motor itself, or try to jump the motor directly with 12V and see if it moves.

      Found the problem.The nut holding the wiper to the spindle loosened up.Unfortunately looks like the splines in the wiper arm got chewed up.I'll probably look for a replacement soon
