What is normal oil consumption for an '99 S80 with 135K ?? My S80 in consuming approx. 1 quart / 750 mi. -- I see no leaks nor any smoke...

    One quart or less for every 3K miles. Get a compression test, the 2.9L engine is known for head gasket problems.

      I have 5W30 in my 01 V70 and the oil is consumed without the proverbial blue smoke. I also have a 98 Explorer that uses 5W30 with the same results. Check your viscosity.
