As mentioned in previous posts, I'm now the proud owner of TWO bricks ('98 850/'07 V70, both wagons). Wanted to have the dealer do the 37.5 Kmile service, but he told me it was $270 for stuff that I can do myself (except maybe flushing the brake fluid). Question: will I need to have Volvo do this so that the 100 Kmile warranty is honored?

    No, you don't, but you have to prove it was done and there in lies the dilemma. A good indy shop with a DETAILED receipt should work. DYI and you might have issues.
