In various (joint) tests in Germany, Netherlands (ADAC,..)for 205/55 R16 W this tire was the overall winner after Conti Premium Contact3.

Anybody has experience with this tire?

Thanks!

Experience with Michelin Premacy HP S60 2003

I have about 10,000 miles on my set - 195/65/15. This seems to be the standard replacement tire at my local Volvo dealership. I replaced the OEM Michelin Energy about a year ago with Primacy. The are very similar to Energy -- the usual Michelin mix of being pretty good at everything but not the best at anything. Here in New England, however, I do switch to a real snow tire (Nokian Hakka Rsi) in winter. I expect to get about 60k miles from Primacy.

I noticed a sudden drop in fuel economy after switching from Energy to Primacy, but later traced that to hauling bicycles on a rear rack across the US and back. Once the bike rack was off the car, the fuel economy improved to about the same, maybe a little less than Energy.
