Air Pump Questions 850

I am getting a fault code for my air pump and it is obvious that it is not working. A couple wires that connect to its relay or frayed and not connected.

Does anyone have any pictures of the airpump installed in the vehicle w/ the wires shown plugged into the relay? I'm not sure where the frayed/disconnected wires go.

There is also a strange random plug hanging near the airpump that isn't attached to anything. It has a plug over the end of it to keep it clean, but I have no idea what it is for. Is this for optional fog lights? Or is this supposed to go to the air pump?

that strange random plug hanging down with the cover on it is the plug for the ambient air temp sensor that you need if you have trip computer. If you get a trip computer, you plug the sensor in that harness and clip it in one of the holes in the bumper facing air flow.

Look on Bay 13 and there is a good write up on replacement that has photos. The pump does have a 2 wire plug if I remember correctly.

Ah yes, found it. Those pictures are helpful, but there still is this random plug that I have no idea what it goes to....hum...
